Article Marketing - Creating Titles That Get Your Articles Read More Often And Picked Up More Often

Article writing is different than many other types of writing. Writing for the internet is different than writing for anything else because the search engines, when somebody types in ‘article writing’ or ‘article marketing’ to the search engines, the search engine spiders – that’s what they’re called, the little electronic whatever it is they send out to read all the different websites out there – read just like Americans do, left to right, top to bottom.

So when they come to a title that says “7 Products You Can Create With Your Articles,” they don’t read past the first four words of that title unless there are keywords in there.

So I would change this title into – “Article Marketing and Income – 7 Products You Can Create With Your Articles.” I’ll say it again: “Article Marketing and Income – 7 Products You Can Create With Your Articles”

Now every part of that title is there for a reason, and I’ll take you from the obvious to the not-so-obvious.

The obvious part is, of course, article marketing is going to be in the front. The rule is don’t waste your first four words. Use keywords in your first four words. So I’ve used ‘article marketing’ and also ‘income.’ “Article Marketing and Income – 7 Products You Can Create With Your Articles” Now if you can find a way for your title to end with your keyword, it will get picked up more often. At least use your keyword again in the title.

Make sure there are benefits in your article title a well. “7 Products You Can Create” – there’s the benefit.

So the title becomes “Article Marketing and Income – 7 Products You Can Create With Your Articles.”

Let’s boil it down to a simple formula - Key words - Benefit(s) - Key words.
