I break down article marketing into the four different skill sets of article writing, article submission, article marketing, and article income. You need to be proficient in all four areas to be completely successful at article marketing.

In this article I’m going to show you one of the many article submission strategies that can bring you more prospects and profits.

Keywords - Benefits - Keywords

The title of this article could have easily been

How to Create a Title that Brings You More Prospects and Profits”

and it would look like a good title, but it is not.

Let’s take a closer look at the keywords - benefits - keywords formula.

Keywords - Your keywords need to come first in your article title because the search engines read like most of the western world, left to right and top to bottom. So when the search engines read the above title and see “How to Create a…” in the first four words they decide the article is not a good article to return to the searcher. Use your keywords in the first four words.

Benefits - Every title needs to highlight the potential benefits of reading your article. Clearly stated benefits give the reader a reason to read your article.

Keywords - The longer your article title the more opportunity you have to use your keywords again in your article title. This doubles the amount of keywords naturally used in your title and increases the likelihood of your article getting picked up by the search engines.

So with just a few strategic tweaks “How to Create a Title that Brings You More Prospects and Profits” turns into the much more powerful title of “Article Submission Secrets - Strategically Worded Article Titles Bring You More Prospects & Profits.”
