Are you looking for ways to earn extra money without exerting too much effort or spending too much time? If you have reasonable writing skills, can research and write fast, and enjoy writing about a wide array of topics, then you may want to consider doing some profitable article writing for the Internet on the side.
Article writing for the web doesn’t require a whole lot of skills, although it goes without saying that you need to have good usage of grammar and spelling, and that you must be able to write your thoughts down in a coherent and structured manner. But as far as format goes, a conversational and casual style is all you need to write solid articles for the Internet.
However, there’s one thing that sets aside articles for the web from the usual essays and informative articles that can be found in traditional feature magazines. To be an effective web copywriter, you need to learn to strike a balance between being informative and promotional. Your articles should not sound as if you’re promoting something. The advertising factor should be subtly introduced and therefore not obvious.

For skilled writers, it only takes thirty minutes at the most to produce one article of that kind. The price tag for the typical article is $5, and can go as high as $15, depending on your skills and reputation. You’ll start small, of course, but once you have loyal clients, you can ask for much higher prices.
