Non-native Speaking English Pronunciation And Articulation

There are varying types of English pronunciation and its articulation lurking in the Educational Institutions of all the non-native speakers of English today. American English and British English vary in pronouncing such words. Both English, as times rolled by produced another multiple branches of pronunciation and articulation.
An obvious example is seen and heard from Japanese who learned the language, a Filipino, Singaporean, Russian, Arabian and many other non-native speaking citizens. Both American and British English vary their pronunciation in the word “either”. Both vary in saying the “ei” of “either.”

Once upon a time, people went to bookstores when they wanted to buy a book. Or at least, that was the theory. Actually, non-bookstore channels have been a big part of book sales for decades—at least since authors like Joe Karbo (”The Lazy Man’s Way to Riches”) back in the 1960s.
For my own books, whether they were self-published, done with a small commercial house, or by a New York conglomerate, I’ve found that selling direct is more secure, more financially rewarding, and far less hassle than sweating out the returns game with the bookstore channel.

You don’t have to look at the results of the 2000 U.S. Census to see how diverse our population is becoming. Just look around you. The complexion of your workplace, your marketplace, and the street where you live is changing, and for most industries, a targeted audience will include non-native English speakers. As more people from other countries move to and settle in America, the greater the need is for all of us to widen our definition and understanding of culture.

Recently I was asked to give an introduction for a local speaker. The lady I replaced quickly gave me her notes she typed up the previous night. I read and reread the introduction and decided on some edits.
Why?
Because I wanted to introduce him in my voice using my language, tone and energy. I didn’t want to sound like I was reading prepared notes. I wanted my passion and authenticity to come through. This is critically important to connect the audience with the speaker—and the speaker with the audience.
